Chesterfield HO Race Club (CHORC) is the oldest HO slotcar club in the country, based just south of Chesterfield in the village of Stretton.
The club was founded in January 1991 and races 1/64th scale Tomy SG+, SRT, Tyco and Lifelike Slotcars on various 4 lane tracks from 70'-170'. F1 and Closed wheel classes. (Sports, GT, Nascar, etc.) Like Scalextric but smaller.
We have 17 club nights a year that comprise an Annual Championships for Adults, Juniors, Teams and Sprints ending with a 'Christmas Bash' and buffet in December, to present Trophies, let our hair down a bit and end the season with a bang, with our Demolition Derby 500 Team races.

Meeting venue: Stretton Derbyshire DE55 6EW Meeting times: Racing every 3rd Thursday Track set up and practice 4.45pm to 7pm Racing 7pm to 10.30pm Accessibility: Fully accessible. Level parking, flat entry, disabled WC. Facilities: Kitchen, WC, Car Parking. Food available from Garage opposite venue. Charges: Member: Adults £34.00 per annum Juniors £17.00 per annum Non-members: Adults £4.00 per meeting Juniors £2.00 per meeting. If visitors join the club, any nightly fees paid will be deducted from the annual membership fee. Eligibility: All ages - under 16's must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Referral procedure: Open to anyone, just turn up on the night. Contacting the club beforehand is preferred but isn't essential
